What a gem of a B&B! As a solo traveller, I couldn’t have asked for better. Cosy room, perfect location, and an incredible breakfast. Andy and Tracy are wonderful hosts—helpful yet unobtrusive. Their warmth made my stay truly special. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend!

Fantastic B & B. Andy and Tracey were excellent hosts. The room was very comfortable,clean and quiet with everything you needed for a break away. The breakfast was brilliant. There is only on street parking available, so arrive early. I'm looking forward to staying there again in the future. Highly recommended if wanting to stay in Keswick.

Stayed here over bank holiday weekend for girlfriends birthday. All can say what lovely.clean.rooms and guest house.. room was very nice clean today bathroom was very clean plenty space for us both very nice quite location.. parking is pot luck we got space just across road but they mention this on parking..breakfast was absolutely brilliant all local food but it was in my opinion very good indeed…met owner at breakfast very nice man indeed very chatty and informative on places to go…all in al had amazing stay here really made are weekend amazing pace to stay and I asked gor few extra for girlfriends birthday and they accommodate what asked for which was above and beyond….but thank you for amazing stay thank you

A great place to stay in Keswick, Andy was welcoming, great chats in the morning and the breakfast Tracey cooks is spot on before a day on the fells. Our room had a great view to the hills. While you are in Keswick the fish and chips and service at The Kingfisher restaurant is great. Also check out the Alhambra Cinema a wonderful little venue. Just arrived back home from the Herdwick Guest House, Andy and Tracey were great hosts. The Herdwick is located in a great location for exploring Keswick and other Lakeland retreats. We felt like we were at home from arriving, rooms were spotless, coffee and tea making facilities in the room and toiletries provided in the ensuite. The breakfast provided was well worthy of a five star hotel. Hope to return soon, thanks again Andy and Tracey.

Absolutely perfect guest house. Brilliant location, well appointed, quiet, great views, lovely atmosphere, very nice hosts and what impressed me the most was the cleanliness. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, I’ve never stayed anywhere so clean. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and plentiful. On the second floor there is a bookcase full of books to borrow and a selection of board games (for those rainy days). Parking was easy, and free. I loved it so much I immediately booked to go back.

Quaint B&B right in the heart of Keswick. The rooms are tight, but have everything you need. The staff is very communicative leading up to the stay, and checkin is very easy if you need to do it early or late. The breakfasts are great starts to days of walking and touring this beautiful area, and a group dining room makes is fun to meet other travelers. The staff was very helpful in planning our days, and providing suggestions. When you are done, it is an easy walk to several pubs serving real ales and great food. We would plan to stay again.

Amazing stay. The breakfast was so tasty and it came out perfectly hot. The rooms are amazing. It’s so quiet and peaceful as well. A home away from home. Andy and Tracey were so helpful and provided amazing communication before and during my stay. Will come back again.
